AI Act and Cybersecurity in Agrotech – Protect Your Data

Cyber Resilience of AI Solutions Throughout the Product Lifecycle: How to Ensure Data Security in Robotic Systems for Agriculturethat was one of the main topics of a webinar organized as part of the agrifoodTEF project. The online meeting’s participants had the opportunity to learn about practical tools supporting business operations, such as Legal Starter and Sec Starter.

Today artificial intelligence is not science fiction but a reality, and agricultural and agri-food processing sectors are no exceptions in this context — emphasized Tomasz Jankowski from the Łukasiewicz Research Network, which, together with the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center and the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Center, offers services such as verification of modern robotic solutions in the agri-food sector, provision of digital infrastructure for computing and simulation, and test fields for agricultural robotics.

It is crucial to be aware of the types of attacks that threaten every business — said Marcin Płóciennik, Head of the Internet of Things Technologies Department at PCSS, citing examples from recent years such as livestock deaths caused by cyberattacks, halted production, and blocked irrigation systems.

Participants of the webinar were invited to take part in workshops, which will be held on 25 November 2025 in Poznań. The workshops are free of charge for small and medium-sized enterprises. Those who are Interested should send their applications to contact@agrifoodtef.pl.
