During this event, the PCSS expert will take part in a panel discussion focused on the impact of AI on the labor market, as well as the emergence of new professional specializations.
The first edition of this festival, which is organized by the PISOP Center Association in cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz University, will take place in Poznań from September 11 to 13. Rooted in the Wielkopolska tradition of grassroots community building, the event will bring together over 300 participants from across the country. The program features three days of workshops and panel discussions focusing on leadership, social change, ecology, mental health, and the development of modern technologies.
A key highlight of the program for PCSS will be a presentation by Bartosz Walter, PhD, DSc (Eng.), during a pael titled “Will AI Take My Future Away? Jobs That Wil Disappear and Those That Will Emerge Soon”. In his daily work, the PCSS expert conducts research in software engineering, focused specifically on the phenomenon of IT system aging. This includes monitoring, prevention, and mitigation of the passage of time effects. The discussion will utilize scientific and engineering perspectives to analyze the real-world impact of AI algorithms on digital transformation and the evolution of the skill sets required for the future.
