On behalf of the Institute of Computer Science, PAS (IPI PAN) – the coordinator of the DARIAH-HUB project, we are happy to invite you to a workshop and promotional meeting of the project. The event will take place on 24 and 25 September 2025 in the Warsaw IPI PAN headquarters. The main goal of this meeting is to present the outcome of work within the DARIAH-HUB project that has been done so far.
The DARIAH-HUB project aims to develop a national smart digital research infrastructure for humanities and arts. As a part of the project activities, a national ecosystem will be created to enable interdisciplinary research on Polish cultural heritage and materials which are the subject of archaeological study. The infrastructure, which is the main result of the project, can be used for both national and international scientific research projects and for initiatives in collaboration with commercial partners.
The two-day meeting will be held at the IPI PAS (Instytut Podstaw Informatyki PAN) headquarters at 5 Jana Kazimierza St. in Warsaw. It is going to begin on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, with an evening dinner for all registered participants. The following day is going to be dedicated to presenting the project’s results to a wider audience. Representatives of PCSS will introduce one of the key components of the national ecosystem for interdisciplinary research on archaeological materials and cultural heritage – the Interdisciplinary Research Platform (Platforma Badań Interdyscyplinarnych). The platform makes it possible to utilize the distributed and complementary laboratories created in the Dariah.lab project (2021-2023), with a special focus on data harmonization.

On 22 January 2026, the FORT KRAKÓW – DIANA Accelerator Poland — a joint initiative of the AGH University of Krakow and the Krakow Technology Park — was officially opened. It is the first NATO accelerator for defence innovation in Poland.
