Update date: 2026-01-30
The website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies due to the non-compliances or exemptions listed below:
- Not all navigation elements on the site are accessible via keyboard.
- Some images and illustrations lack alternative descriptions.
- Published videos do not include audio descriptions.
- Not all content is digitally accessible using a screen reader.
- Some subpages contain errors or WCAG validator warnings that may cause difficulties when using alternative browsing methods.
A two-stage internal audit confirmed that a large part of the basic, intermediate, and advanced accessibility requirements have been met in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and the Accessibility Act. Remaining elements will be further analyzed to make them digitally accessible to the widest possible audience.
Date of preparation: 2021-09-10
This declaration was prepared based on a self-assessment conducted by the public entity.
At PCSS, procedures aimed at improving the digital accessibility of operated websites have been implemented, along with declarations required by the Act. Given the large number of maintained websites, in 2021 a classification and prioritization process was planned for digital resources, based on target user groups and reach. Some websites related to conferences, events, services, or projects that are no longer maintained will be permanently archived. Websites that PCSS continues to support will be gradually adapted to meet WCAG standards, starting with public-service websites and extending to closed or internal services.

Feedback and contact details
If you experience any accessibility issues with the website, please contact: Damian Niemir, pr@pcss.pl or call +48 61 858 21 31. The same contact methods can be used to request access to unavailable information or to submit accessibility-related requests.
Any individual has the right to request digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or any of their elements. You may also request access to information using an alternative method, for example by reading out a non-accessible document or describing the content of a video without audio description. The request should include the requester’s contact details, the specific website or application concerned, and the preferred way to receive the information. If the requester asks for an alternative form of access, they should specify the preferred method. The public body must fulfill the request promptly, no later than 7 days from the date of submission. If meeting this deadline is not possible, the public body will notify the requester when fulfillment will be possible, though this period cannot exceed 2 months. If digital accessibility cannot be ensured, the public body may propose an alternative means of access. If the public body refuses to meet a request for digital accessibility or to provide alternative access, the requester may submit a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or their components. Once this procedure has been exhausted, an application may also be submitted to the Commissioner for Human Rights (Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich).
