ORNL is a leading research laboratory, renowned for its partnerships with global giants such as NASA, undertaking projects ranging from data science to advanced ecosystem modeling.
This strategic partnership opens the door for Polish scientists and engineers to access the world’s most advanced computing infrastructure. The agreement ensures the exchange of expertise, joint projects, and potential access to the exascale supercomputer Frontier (ranked 2nd on the current TOP500 list), significantly strengthening PCSS’s position on the global stage.

PCSS in Three New ECHOES Projects Within the ECCCH

As part of the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) initiative, ten new projects from the 2024 call have been chosen for implementation in order to make a significant impact on the development of digital cultural heritage in Europe. These projects focus on digitisation, data analysis and enrichment, new user experiences, and the conservation of cultural heritage objects. PCSS is taking part in three of them: StratiGraph, INFINITY, and ECHOLOT.
From Lost Worlds to Open Data: 3DBigDataSpace Data Synergy Grant Winners

As PSNC is a partner of 3DBigDataSpace, our Center is very happy to share two exceptional undertakings that have been selected as winners of the project’s Data Synergy Call. Both of them are outstanding examples of striving for excellence in reconstructing lost heritage and so, they will receive support in preparing 3D assets and metadata in order to enrich Europe’s digital 3D cultural landscape. These two projects will be integrated into the Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage — a key initiative aimed at increasing the accessibility, interoperability, and reusability of Europe’s digital heritage.

Digital Arts and Humanities With and For Society: Building Infrastructures of Engagement – that is the theme of the 2026 DARIAH Annual Event, which is going to take place in the city of Rome (Italy) from 26 to 29 May next year. Even though half a year seems like quite a considerable amount of time, the deadline for submitting the papers is 22 December 2025.
