At the PCSS & PIONIER booth in America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, we are presenting innovative solutions in network infrastructure and advanced computing, including an interactive demo related to Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) technology and networks.
PCSS presents at SC25 booth an interactive demo connected with Quantum Key Distribution technology and networks. PIONIER-Q project established the national quantum communication infrastructure and service under the EuroQCI initiative. The PIONIER-Q network is based on the PIONIER network – National Research and Education Network that connects all academic centres in Poland. PIONIER-Q connects all HPC centers in Poland – Gdańsk – Poznań – Warsaw, Wrocław and Cracow. It provides QKD services between HPC infrastructure. The demo shows how the QKD keys are being generated and excahnged, how the Key Management System operated and managaes the QKD network and how the principle of trusted nodes works in practice.
The PIONIER-Q project is part of the pan-European EuroQCI initiative – the development of the European quantum communication network. PCSS, as the operator of the PIONIER network, serves as the project coordinator.

PCSS in Three New ECHOES Projects Within the ECCCH

As part of the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) initiative, ten new projects from the 2024 call have been chosen for implementation in order to make a significant impact on the development of digital cultural heritage in Europe. These projects focus on digitisation, data analysis and enrichment, new user experiences, and the conservation of cultural heritage objects. PCSS is taking part in three of them: StratiGraph, INFINITY, and ECHOLOT.
From Lost Worlds to Open Data: 3DBigDataSpace Data Synergy Grant Winners

As PSNC is a partner of 3DBigDataSpace, our Center is very happy to share two exceptional undertakings that have been selected as winners of the project’s Data Synergy Call. Both of them are outstanding examples of striving for excellence in reconstructing lost heritage and so, they will receive support in preparing 3D assets and metadata in order to enrich Europe’s digital 3D cultural landscape. These two projects will be integrated into the Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage — a key initiative aimed at increasing the accessibility, interoperability, and reusability of Europe’s digital heritage.

Digital Arts and Humanities With and For Society: Building Infrastructures of Engagement – that is the theme of the 2026 DARIAH Annual Event, which is going to take place in the city of Rome (Italy) from 26 to 29 May next year. The conference will be hosted by CNR: Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. Even though half a year seems like quite a considerable amount of time, the deadline for submitting the papers is 22 December 2025.
