Meeting of the Advisory Board and Stakeholder Panel in the 3D 4CH project

During the July meeting, the primary milestones of the 3D-4CH project were reviewed. Key initiatives completed so far include the first edition of the 3D-4CH Winter School, workshops focused on the application of artificial intelligence and digital twins in cultural heritage, an XR storytelling co-creation session, and efforts targeted at preserving Ukraine’s endangered heritage. Another significant highlight of the work was a case study focusing on Neuschwanstein Castle.

During the session, the first version of the 3D Competence Centre Online Platform was presented, which has been made available to users and will undergo further development. The meeting also introduced the framework for a new project impact measurement system based on dedicated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), enabling precise evaluation and assessment of ongoing activities.

Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS) is taking part in creating the 3D Competence Centre. PCSS’s involvement encompasses the development of training courses and educational materials, the organization of workshops, the provision of case studies and best practice collections, as well as the co-creation of tools designed for processing and manipulating 3D objects. These efforts are supported by continuous advisory and technological assistance provided to the consortium.
