Meeting of the IZTECH Council

On May 19, 2026, a meeting of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Advanced Technologies (Iztech) was held in Warsaw, dedicated to the key challenges of the country’s digitalization. The event was attended by Robert Pękal, Plenipotentiary of the Director of IBCH PAS for PCSS, who took an active part in the debate on implementing modern solutions. The meeting gathered leading representatives from the worlds of science, business, and government administration.

During the event, a panel session was held under the slogan “Advanced Technologies for Digital Transformation.” The discussion, which included representatives from the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, the National Centre for Research and Development, and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Centre, among others, addressed issues related to supporting digitalization processes through innovation. Particular attention was paid to the integration of the IT sector, the commercialization of software solutions, and the further development of advanced technological infrastructure in Poland.

The Warsaw meeting also served as an official prelude to the upcoming Central European Technology Forum – CETEF’26. In concluding the proceedings, all participants and interested entities were invited to take part in this prestigious forum, which will be hosted in Poznań.
