April at PCSS promises to be a season of strategic meetings and building digital sovereignty across multiple key sectors. Poznań is the host of the IN.SE.CON Congress, where, together with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Digital Affairs, we will outline the future of 21st-century defense. Simultaneously, we are opening our doors to AI enthusiasts through AI Tinkerers and social innovation leaders during the Polish Living Lab Summit, proving that technology excels best through action and direct dialogue.
In terms of news and achievements, we are proud to announce a historic breakthrough in the Polish quantum network—successful tests before the European Commission have confirmed our readiness to implement secure QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) connectivity. Our expertise is gaining recognition both domestically and internationally, evidenced by a prestigious feature by the Associated Press (AP) on Poland’s transformation, which highlights PCSS as a cornerstone of the new digital era. Furthermore, we are strengthening our ties with academia by joining the Collegium Da Vinci Employers’ Council and actively co-organizing the Poznań Festival of Science and Art.
Our projects and services dynamically respond to the needs of the market and the cultural sector, bridging worlds that once seemed far apart. Through the Polish Power Factory’s GPUaaS model, we provide businesses with the teraflops essential for dominating the AI race, while initiatives like GraviQ propel us into the era of precision quantum measurements. We remain committed to heritage as well: working with partners from the ECHOES and E-RIHS projects, we are building the foundations for pan-European data platforms that will safeguard cultural treasures for future generations.
We also feature a report from Spark Demo Day, where we supported companies in their digital transformation, alongside details of our groundbreaking collaboration on the “Digital Theatre Archive.” This edition demonstrates that at PCSS, innovation has many faces—from massive computing power and quantum sensors to the digitization of post-war theatrical archives.

Join us for AI Tinkerers Poland Poznań #1 – an intensive meetup for creators of AI-based solutions who aren’t afraid to experiment. Join us at the CBPIO headquarters to take part in a unique collaboration testing ground and, together with our specialists, explore the latest trends in the world of intelligent algorithms.
From April 20–24, Poznań will be filled with the passion of discovery! Together with ICHB PAN, we invite you to the next edition of the Poznań Festival of Science and Art, where we will jointly examine what true quality means in the world of research, technology, and creativity.
We are strengthening our cooperation with the Poznań academic community: Urszula Grygier-Soboń and Dr. Magdalena Baranowska-Szczepańska have joined the Collegium Da Vinci Employers’ Council. As members of the Council, we will have a tangible impact on the education of future IT professionals, tailoring study programs to the dynamic challenges of the modern labor market.
The consortium of which our Center is a part has secured massive support for the development of innovative diagnostic tools for historical monuments. Led by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, as many as 14 key centers from all over Poland will join forces to protect national treasures. What does this mean in practice? Modern technology and free research will become available to a wide range of researchers and conservators of artworks.
The Polish quantum network has successfully passed tests before the European Commission, confirming its readiness for secure data transmission using QKD technology. This is a historic moment that not only finalizes the construction of the national infrastructure between HPC centers but also paves the way for the development of next-generation cross-border connections.
On April 9, social innovations and new technologies met at PCSS headquarters. We hosted the Polish Living Lab Summit — an event dedicated to building connections between science and administration, as well as exploring new funding sources for ambitious pilot projects. Among leaders from the public and scientific sectors, discussions focused on modern development paths for regions.
The capital of Greater Poland is at the heart of Europe’s digital culture! See the summary of the key meeting between the ECHOES project partners and the European Commission, which was hosted in March at the PCSS headquarters and within the interiors of the National Museum in Poznań. Learn how, together with the ECCCH projects, we are building the foundations for a pan-European data platform for cultural heritage.
More than 250 companies, intense B2B sessions, and concrete discussions about technology – this is what Spark Demo Day in Łódź looked like. PCSS, represented by Łukasz Dębicki and Tomasz Konopka, became a hub for discussions on digital transformation. From the pet-tech industry to aircraft fleet management, representatives from various sectors turned to us for support in implementing modern solutions. Projects
The history of theatre since 1945 is no longer confined to paper folders! PCSS, the Polish Theatre in Wrocław, and the University of Wrocław are joining forces to create a model system for digitizing theatre archives. Thanks to PCSS’s modern infrastructure, unique collections documenting postwar culture will not only be protected from deterioration, but also made widely accessible. This is the beginning of a new era of the “Digital Theatre Archive,” which will become a standard for cultural institutions across Poland.
Poland is entering the era of precise quantum measurements thanks to the GraviQ project, carried out by PCSS and its partners. The construction of the country’s first network of mobile gravimeters will make it possible to monitor Earth’s gravitational field with unprecedented accuracy, opening new opportunities for geophysics and civil engineering.
