Dear Readers,

We are thrilled to present the latest edition of our newsletter, where we look back at an incredibly intense and productive period throughout May and early June. The past weeks have truly demonstrated the massive impact that solutions developed at the PCSS have on the world around us.

First and foremost, we would like to warmly welcome and thank our new subscribers for joining our community! We are excited to have You with us. We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited the PCSS/PIONIER booth at TNC26: thank you for all the inspiring conversations, shared ideas, and valuable insights.

In recent weeks, we had the privilege of hosting the Parliamentary Group for the Development of the Poznan Agglomeration, bringing together decision-makers and scientists to design the digital future of our region. On the international stage, we continue to actively strengthen our position as an innovation leader. This is clearly highlighted by the 18-month summary of the fruitful work of the HERIFORGE consortium in Cyprus, as well as our strong voice in Warsaw during the OPERAS 2026 & SCIROS conference, where we discussed data sovereignty and secure, open science.

The technological revolution, however, requires constant adaptation. At the Data on Campus event, our experts shared insights on how to safely harness artificial intelligence in the public sector. We also demonstrated how our eduMeet platform can instantly save live broadcasts under pressure.

Finally, we have just returned from the most important European networking conference, TNC26, which took place in Helsinki! It was an incredible event, and just like in previous years, we were deeply honored to serve as a technology partner. We are incredibly proud of our team’s contribution to making this global gathering a success, and we are grateful for all the brilliant networking and collaborative opportunities we experienced in Finland.

PCSS at TNC26 in Helsinki

PCSS played a key role during TNC26! As the main technological partner, we were responsible for the complete multimedia coverage, online broadcasts, and web systems for the event. We also showcased our quantum and AI initiatives.

The program featured a strong substantive presence from our team: our specialists participated in panel discussions, covering topics ranging from cybersecurity, quantum technologies and artificial intelligence to network automation and the eduMEET platform.

PIAST-AI Ecosystem meeting at PCSS

May 26, 2026, went down in the history of the PIAST-AI project as a time of intensive work on the future of Polish artificial intelligence. The creators and partners of the PIAST-AI Factory met at the headquarters of PCSS to discuss the implementation status of this massive computing infrastructure.

Meeting of the Parliamentary Group for the Development of the Poznan Agglomeration

A unique meeting with the Parliamentary Group for the Development of the Poznan Agglomeration took place at PCSS, attended by key experts, parliamentarians, and city officials. Together with the management of ICHB PAN (IBCH PAS) and PCSS, discussions focused on key innovations, technologies, and strategic development directions for our region. This marks another important step in connecting the worlds of science, technology, and local government to build a better future for the agglomeration.

Robert Pękal at the IZTECH Council meeting

A meeting of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Advanced Technologies (Iztech) took place in Warsaw, dedicated to the key challenges of the country’s digitalization, with the participation of Robert Pękal, Director of PCSS. During a panel session involving representatives from ministries and key institutions, discussions focused on the innovations driving digital transformation and the development of IT infrastructure in Poland. The meeting also served as an official prelude to the upcoming Central European Technology Forum – CETEF’26, which will be hosted by Poznan.

An exceptional Open Day is behind us, during which we explored the digital future powered by European Funds! Our visitors had a unique opportunity to see the heart of PCSS technology up close: the supercomputers of the PIAST-AI factory and our latest quantum computer, PIAST-Q. Our support for the GHOST Day conference

Another exciting edition of GHOST Day is behind us. On May 8-9, the walls of the Lecture Center at the Poznan University of Technology were filled with discussions about the future of artificial intelligence, and PCSS proudly supported the event as a Gold Sponsor. This year’s conference brought together around 450 participants – from researchers and students to tech industry leaders. It provided an exceptional space for knowledge exchange and the integration of both the Polish and international AI communities.

PCSS at Data on Campus

PCSS experts at the Data on Campus conference explained why “naive” RAG fails with large datasets and how to build secure chatbots for the public sector. The event also brought an unexpected twist – when a technical failure interrupted the broadcast of the packed main panel, our team instantly saved the day by resuming the stream using the eduMeet platform.
