On the occasion of World Quantum Day, the PIAST-Q system was officially launched at PCSS. Following the successful completion of the acceptance procedures, the unit achieved full readiness for performing advanced operations. The system has been made available in early access mode for scientists, students, and the commercial sector. This enables practical testing and the development of quantum algorithms in a real-world environment, marking a key step for Polish and European technology.

The Poznań Zero Waste Map, created in cooperation between the City of Poznań and PCSS, received an award in the IT Wings in Administration (Skrzydła IT w Administracji) competition. The project was recognized in the “e-Services for citizens” category for supporting the circular economy. The award confirms the effective synergy between science and local government in digital transformation. This tool promotes responsible consumption, serving as a model for modern IT solutions in the public sector.

The “Strategie Wzrostu 2026” conference was organized at the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region. Director Robert Pękal participated in the event, which was prepared in cooperation with the Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, discussions focused on the key development directions for the region and the exchange of experiences between the technology, business, and administration sectors in the face of dynamic market changes.

A meeting dedicated to the implementation of modern technologies into the social fabric and the funding of bold research projects was held at the PCSS headquarters. The focus was placed on the role of Living Labs in Poland as spaces for exchanging best practices between science and administration. The event created a platform for reflecting on building innovations that respond to contemporary challenges, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of technological development.

During the Poznań Festival of Science and Arts, an original quantum game was presented, attracting a large number of participants. The event became an opportunity to popularize quantum physics among children, who showed immense curiosity, as well as older youth, who required a strategic approach and deeper engagement. Playing together allowed for gathering valuable experience in the field of science education and modern forms of interaction.

A meeting of representatives from 11 Polish research centers was organized at PCSS as part of the PUCHACZ project. During the event, the ongoing work on the nationwide Platform for Obtaining Characteristics of Adversaries and Cyber Threats was summarized. This PLN 176 million initiative, implemented under the FENG program, involves building a unique infrastructure based on three laboratories utilizing artificial intelligence to detect and analyze digital threats.

NASK headquarters hosted workshops dedicated to the challenges and perspectives of cybersecurity in modern telecommunications infrastructure. The event, organized as part of the European 5G-TACTIC project, served as a platform for knowledge exchange between academia, public administration, and industry. The meeting focused on analyzing next-generation network security and strengthening cross-sector cooperation.

A conference concluding the SUBMERSE project was organized in Copenhagen, where the international research cooperation on innovative methods of water observation was summarized. Key achievements of the PCSS team were presented, focusing on the use of advanced digital technologies in underwater research. The event provided an opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of modern marine and ocean monitoring.
