On the quantum Boundary of Quality: PCSS at the 29th Poznań Festival of Science and Art

During the upcoming edition of the Poznań Festival of Science and Art, technologies will be showcased where precision and security stem directly from the fundamental laws of physics. PCSS has prepared a special exhibition illustrating how quantum mechanics is redefining modern engineering standards. The event will take place on April 22, 2026, in the historic spaces of the Działyński Palace.

Under this year’s motto “Quality,” the PCSS stand will focus on quantum technologies as the physical boundary of excellence. Visitors will have the opportunity to understand that in the world of elementary particles, quality is not merely a performance parameter but an inherent feature of reality’s structure. The program has been designed to make complex physical concepts accessible to both specialists and those outside the technology sector.

A key element of the stand will be “Quantum Intro“—a concise presentation introducing the topic of particles and their potential applications. Complementing the theory will be a large-format educational board game measuring 2×2 meters. This interactive attraction will allow participants to literally “enter” the quantum world and independently discover the principles governing the construction of modern quantum computers.

For those interested in the impact of science on everyday life, an interactive comic-book game has been prepared. Through the lens of three different scenarios, participants will learn how quantum technologies will improve the quality of services and security in the future. This form of presentation aims to illustrate the transformation that reality will undergo thanks to the use of physical phenomena in communication and computing.

The presentation of future technologies at the PCSS stand in the Działyński Palace represents a unique blend of Poznań’s historical heritage with the latest scientific achievements. Participation in the demonstrations offers a chance for direct contact with engineers and scientists who work daily on the digital future. The entire event underscores PCSS’s role as a leader in implementing and popularizing advanced quantum solutions in the region.
