PCSS at the 1st CEE Congress for RMA

PCSS at the 1st CEE Congress for RMA

PCSS will be represented at a crucial event in the world of research management. Tomasz Parkoła, Director of the Network Services Division at PCSS, will take part in the first Congress for Research Managers and Administrators (RMA) of Central and Eastern Europe, to be held on 4–5 November 2025 in Brussels. PCSS’s participation highlights the Center’s role as a key hub of knowledge and infrastructure in the European research area.

The main highlight featuring the PCSS representative will be a panel discussion held on 5 November, focused on “Practical Tools and Strategic Readiness” in the RMA field. Taking advantage of his extensive experience in managing complex research projects and e-infrastructures, Tomasz Parkoła will provide valuable insights into the use of cutting-edge digital technologies. This discussion is particularly relevant in the context of the development of European research networks and the ongoing improvement of the efficiency of project lifecycle management – from proposal design to impact reporting.

The CEE RMA Congress is a two-day event that aims to hone the competencies of the RMA community in Central and Eastern Europe. It covers a range of topics, including the Thematic Session II: “Artificial Intelligence in Research.” The Center’s presence at a forum addressing strategic aspects of AI deployment in science and innovation management is fully aligned with the mission of PCSS as a leader in information and communication technologies. The event in Brussels is a joint initiative of entities representing the Czech Republic (CZELO), Slovakia (SLORD), Hungary (NRDIO), and Poland (PolSCA PAN). It marks a natural step forward and a symbolic milestone, after ten years of organising the V4 Trainings for RMAs. The new event consolidates this legacy into a regional platform that aims to scale up competencies, exchange best practices, and strengthen the recognition of the RMA profession across the entire region.
