From June 23 to 25, 2026, representatives of PCSS participated in the ISC High Performance 2026 international conference and exhibition in Hamburg. During this year’s edition, PCSS showcased its key research and development initiatives, with a particular focus on the KMD4EOSC project, advanced HPC services, and innovations in quantum technologies.
ISC High Performance is one of the world’s major events combining experts, researchers, and industry representatives from the high-performance computing (HPC), networking and data storage sectors. The PCSS stand (no. E12) sparked significant interest this year, serving as a venue for substantive discussions and the exchange of experiences among partners from around the globe.
Promotion of the KMD4EOSC project (National Data Repository for the European Open Science Cloud) was a key feature of this year’s exhibition. PCSS experts introduced visitors to the objectives of said initiative. It focuses on building a universal infrastructure for data storage and management. The solutions developed under KMD4EOSC will provide an essential foundation for handling large data volumes and effectively supporting the principles of Open Science.
While at the event, The Center’s experts actively promoted the extensive portfolio of HPC services developed at PCSS. Trade show attendees had the opportunity to learn about the Poznań-based center’s computing capabilities, its modern data center architecture, and innovative systems which support the development of AI solutions. Technological showcases were complemented by discussions led by engineers. These conversations were mainly led in regard to practical implementations and Center’s latest achievements in quantum technologies and cybersecurity fields.
Participation in the ISC provided an excellent opportunity to meet with existing project partners as well.
PCSS’s presence at this prestigious event is a vital part of its ongoing commitment to representing Polish science, HPC entities, and metropolitan academic networks on the international stage. We would like to thank all the participants for visiting our stand in large numbers and for the inspiring conversations. The next edition of the event is scheduled for next year.
