PCSS has developed and implemented the complete RankINN software solution, which supports decision-making processes in the area of energy investments. The solution, based on a proprietary investment algorithm, was created in close substantive cooperation with experts from Enea Operator and constitutes a key element in the digitalisation of energy infrastructure.
Work on the RankINN system was carried out comprehensively by the teams of the Energy-Efficient Technologies Department and the Large-Scale Applications and Services Department at PCSS – from defining the concept and designing an advanced algorithm, through building a functional prototype, up to delivering the final solution. Thanks to this synergy of competencies within PCSS, the application has been fully tailored to the technical and operational requirements of Enea Operator.
The completion of the implementation stage and the delivery of the first series of user trainings made it possible to gather valuable feedback. Further development work is planned to align the tool even more closely with the evolving needs of the energy sector.
The deployment of the RankINN application is not an isolated activity but part of a broad, long-term collaboration between PCSS and Enea Operator. This partnership includes both the implementation of advanced research and development projects (including initiatives funded under the prestigious Horizon Europe programme) and the delivery of specialised solutions as part of commercial contracts. The joint efforts of both institutions contribute to increasing the innovativeness of the Polish energy sector.
