PCSS supports the PRACE FENIX 2025 call for proposals.

As part of the ongoing PRACE FENIX 2025 call for proposals, the offer of available infrastructure has been expanded to include additional cloud resources provided by PCSS. This initiative aims to support European research projects requiring advanced computing services and to provide free access to modern IT technologies for the scientific sector.

The call for proposals is directed at scientists and research organizations based in Europe, regardless of their field of science. The project selection process is based on standard technical and scientific evaluation principles (peer-review) applied by the PRACE association. The deadline for submitting applications is February 13, 2026, and the first resource allocations for qualified projects will be launched in May 2026 for a period of up to 12 months.

PCSS, as a founding member of the international Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) association, actively participates in building a distributed supercomputing infrastructure in Europe. These activities include coordinating Tier-0 and Tier-1 class systems and ensuring interoperability with other European networks, such as FENIX. Thanks to these efforts, the Polish and European scientific community gains access to systems with power on the order of hundreds of PetaFLOP/s and ExaFLOP/s, enabling the realization of the most demanding computational challenges.

Detailed information on the call conditions and application procedure is available on the official website.
