PIAST-AI Factory presented during Web Summit 2025

From November 10–13 this year, another edition of the Web Summit technology conference took place in Lisbon. It is the largest European event promoting the latest technologies. This year’s key theme focused on innovations in the field of AI. During the event, the Polish Embassy carried out an additional economic project with the participation of Tomasz Parkoła, Head of the Network Services Department at PCSS.

The PCSS specialist presented the potential and achievements of the Poznań Center in a talk titled PIAST-AI Factory: from complex data to real-world AI. Thanks to the PIAST-AI Factory, Poznań is becoming an important hub for the development of IT, cybersecurity, space technologies, robotics, and sustainable development. Its operation will contribute to enhancing Poland’s competitiveness on the world’s digital map and support Europe’s technological sovereignty.

Tomasz Parkoła also discussed Polish quantum technologies, with particular emphasis on the launch of the first quantum computer in Europe at PCSS, implemented as part of the EuroHPC network. Additionally. He moderated a presentation by Startup Hub Poland on strategic support programs for companies expanding into international markets.
