Partners

The PIAST-AI Consortium, established in July 2025 under a Hosting Agreement with EuroHPC JU, is a unique combination of competencies from the worlds of science, business, and public administration. The project, supported by the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, is implemented by four key partners and regional innovation hubs (including the Greater Poland ICT Cluster).

PCSS

Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC), affiliated with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, PAS

As the consortium leader and the technological heart of the project, PSNC provides world-class computing infrastructure, including a modern Data Center and GPU clusters optimized for training AI models. It also brings expert knowledge cultivated through years of implementing European R&D projects. As a result, PSNC provides Factory users not only with raw computing power but also with comprehensive analytical and programming support at every stage of AI implementation.

PUT

Poznań University of Technology (PUT)

One of the best technical universities in the country, known for its strong ties with industry. The academic staff of the Poznań University of Technology brings unique engineering knowledge in the fields of robotics, automation, and computer science, enabling the translation of complex AI algorithms into practical production solutions.

UAM

Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (AMU)

As one of the few higher education institutions holding the status of a Research University, AMU focuses on the development of theoretical and interdisciplinary aspects of science. The university’s contribution to PIAST-AI primarily includes deep data analysis, the development of language models, and support in cognitive sciences and artificial intelligence ethics.

NCU

Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (NCU)

An academic center with tremendous scientific traditions, which in the PIAST-AI project focuses on integrating modern IT technologies with domain-specific research. NCU brings competencies in the areas of computational physics, astronomy, and medicine, supporting the development of dedicated AI solutions for the healthcare sector and advanced analytics.
