PIAST-Q system officially launched

On the occasion of World Quantum Day, a key step in the development of quantum technologies in Poland and Europe was announced. The PIAST-Q computer system has successfully passed acceptance procedures and has been officially launched at PCSS. This marks the unit’s full readiness to perform advanced computational operations.

The completion of the installation phase and the successful passage of the rigorous acceptance procedure have enabled the system to be made available in early access mode. Scientists, students, and representatives from the commercial and institutional sectors can now use the quantum computer’s resources. This access aims to enable a wide audience from Poland and abroad to practically test and develop quantum algorithms in a real-world environment.

The launch of the PIAST-Q system forms a significant foundation for building a strong quantum technology ecosystem. The implementation of this project brings Polish science and economy closer to practical applications of quantum computing in solving complex optimization and research problems.
