Poznań to host PPAM 2026. International and domestic HPC and applied mathematics experts will meet at the turn of August and September

PPAM 2026 (16th International Conference on Parallel Processing and Applied Mathematics) is one of the key international conferences dedicated to parallel processing, high-performance computing (HPC), and applications of mathematics in computational science. The event brings together scientists and practitioners working on algorithms, modeling, data analysis, and computational solutions used in fields such as engineering, natural sciences, and industry.

The conference will take place in Poznań from August 30 to September 2, 2026, and is co-organized by the Częstochowa University of TechnologyPoznań University of Technology, and the PCSS. The honorary chair of the organizing committee is Prof. Jan Węglarz.

As part of PPAM 2026, we also invite you to the AGCA Workshop (Workshop on Advancements of Global Challenges Applications), focused on the development and improvement of highly scalable computational applications addressing contemporary global challenges. AGCA provides a space for presenting and discussing methods, tools, and case studies that combine large-scale simulations, data processing (HPDA), and AI approaches, with a particular emphasis on scalability, efficiency, and co-design of applications and computing architectures.

Topics include complex programming platforms (e.g., CFD, agent-based models), scalable numerical methods and solvers, performance engineering, energy efficiency, data management (I/O, transfer, metadata), in-situ/in-transit analytics, task flow systems and computational campaign orchestration, as well as visualization of large datasets. The workshop is organized by Dr. Marcin Lawenda (PCSS) and Dr. Hab. Inż. Łukasz Szustak, Prof. PCZ. Submissions to AGCA are accepted through the PPAM system (EasyChair – AGCA track); paper submission deadline: May 5, 2026; acceptance notification: June 17, 2026.
