Presentation of the PIAST-AI and DATAMITE projects at EBDVF 2025

Piast-AI and DATAMITE projects, implemented by PCSS, were presented at this year’s European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF 2025) in Copenhagen. The details were shared by Marcin Płóciennik, Head of the Internet of Things Technologies Department at PCSS.

The DATAMITE project was featured in the session Data Interoperability and Monetisation: Framework, Use Cases and Market Adoption. Marcin Płóciennik, responsible for the work package on application implementation, presented the project’s results. The presentation showcased how the DATAMITE framework supports data monetisation, interoperability, and cross-sector data exchange. Participants had the opportunity to explore real use cases where the solution was successfully tested and contributed to the development of the Data Maturity Model.

As part of the session AI Factories, Data Labs and Data Spaces, the Piast-AI project was presented. This part of the conference focused on integrating AI Factories, Data Labs, and Data Spaces into a coherent ecosystem that supports the European Union’s strategic goals. The discussion addressed collaboration opportunities among these initiatives, potential cooperation models, and technical and organisational challenges related to developing data environments for artificial intelligence. The presentation by the Piast-AI representative exemplified the active involvement of Polish institutions in building the European AI and data ecosystem.
