REWIRE
Reproducibility Enablement for Widespread Implementation, Reuse and Evidence in the European Research Area

The REWIRE project aims to make computational reproducibility an integral part of research practice across the European Research Area. It addresses the need to embed reproducible methods into the research lifecycle and support research communities in adopting practices that enable computational work to be reliably repeated, reused and validated.

The project will introduce reproducibility practices at key stages of the research lifecycle, including machine-actionable Reproducibility Management Plans for research design, Guix-based computational environments for execution, and RO-Crate packaging for publication and reuse. These technical solutions will be complemented by tailored training, peer learning and community engagement activities.

The approach will be tested through pilots and follower organisations, with particular attention to widening countries. Evidence collected during the project will contribute to the development of implementation blueprints, a technical playbook integrated with EOSC services, a role-specific training package including Train-the-Trainer materials, and the REWIRE Network supporting continued exchange between research communities.

The project will contribute to the wider adoption of reproducible research practices by providing technical guidance, training and community support, strengthening the reuse and validation of computational research and integrating reproducibility into established research workflows.
