Qiskit Fall Fest: Quantum pizza at PCSS

On Saturday, October 25, a special event took place at the PCSS headquarters as part of a global initiative organised by IBM, focusing on building a community around quantum computing and the Qiskit library. The event, held under the name “Quantum Pizza,” brought together several enthusiasts of quantum technologies and Italian cuisine.

The Qiskit Fall Fest is a global festival of events supported by IBM Quantum, organised primarily by and for university students around the world. Its goal is to foster community building, learning, and collaboration around quantum computing and the Qiskit software. The events include hackathons, challenges, workshops, and lectures.

PCSS could not miss the opportunity to host its own quantum-themed gathering. During Saturday’s afternoon, experts from PCSS, together with a representative from IBM Quantum, met with young quantum technology enthusiasts to explore the mysteries of the quantum world. They were accompanied by some delicious pizza. Participants played the Human Qubits game and took part in Quantum Coding Time.
