The first Winter School of the 3D-4CH project in Brussels

3D-4CH is a European project whose main objective is to establish a competence centre dedicated to the use of 3D technologies in the field of cultural heritage. One of the key events of this initiative was the first 3D-4CH Winter School, held on January 21–23 in Brussels, at the Royal Museum of Art and History (Musées royaux des beaux-arts de Belgique).

The Winter School was not only a conference but also a series of lectures and workshops designed for cultural heritage professionals. It brought together more than 20 representatives of institutions, museum professionals, and curators for hands-on sessions covering topics such as digitisation methods, the use of 3D and XR technologies, and copyright issues.

PCSS was represented by Michał Lorek from the New Media Department, a member of the event’s scientific committee, who is actively involved in the development of the emerging 3D-4CH Competence Centre.
