The CEADS project aims to develop the Common European Agricultural Data Space, a secure and trusted environment facilitating data sharing across the EU agri-food sector. CEADS supports sustainable agriculture by improving data accessibility, interoperability, and governance in compliance with European legislation. The project builds on existing initiatives and aligns with the European Data Strategy to enable cross-border and cross-sectoral data use.
CEADS targets a broad range of stakeholders, including farmers, researchers, policymakers, industry actors, and data providers. It will demonstrate its impact through multiple real-world use cases covering environmental monitoring, innovation, genetic improvement, machinery data sharing, risk management, agrotourism, and climate-resilient agriculture.
Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) leads use case 7 on cross-sectoral data for sustainable agrotourism. PSNC contributes expertise in high-performance computing and data infrastructure, playing a key role in implementing CEADS technical components and facilitating collaboration across use cases and partners.
The CEADS consortium comprises 36 partners from 15 European countries, combining expertise from academia, industry, associations, and public organizations to create a comprehensive and sustainable data ecosystem. This multidisciplinary team ensures the technical, organisational, and legal foundations for CEADS and drives innovation and adoption throughout the project.
