3D-4CH Winter School 2026: From strategy to practice

The first edition of the 3D-4CH Winter School took place on 21–23 January 2026 at the Art & History Museum in Brussels. The event inaugurated the seasonal schools programme of the Online Competence Centre 3D-4CH – an EU-funded initiative supporting skills development, interoperability, and innovation in the field of 3D cultural heritage. Over 100 participants from across Europe, including representatives of PCSS, gathered to explore the impact of 3D digitisation, extended reality (XR), and digital storytelling on heritage practices.

Inauguration of the INFINITY project

Representatives of the PCSS Digital Libraries and Knowledge Platforms Department took part in Bologna in the kick-off meeting of the INFINITY project. Polish acceleration centre FORT KRAKÓW – NATO DIANA Accelerator Poland

On 22 January 2026, the FORT KRAKÓW – DIANA Accelerator Poland — a joint initiative of the AGH University of Krakow and the Krakow Technology Park — was officially opened. It is the first NATO accelerator for defence innovation in Poland. The centre aims to support the implementation of acceleration programmes focused on technological solutions that enhance security and defence capabilities among all NATO member states. For Poland, it represents an opportunity to strengthen its dual-use technology sector and modernize its defence capabilities. PCSS is one of the selected test centres.

The first Winter School of the 3D-4CH project in Brussels

3D-4CH is a European project whose main objective is to establish a competence centre dedicated to the use of 3D technologies in the field of cultural heritage.One of the key events of this initiative was the first 3D-4CH Winter School, held on January 21–23 in Brussels, at the Royal Museum of Art and History (Musées royaux des beaux-arts de Belgique).

The MIND Challenge Program Finale

The pilot edition of the MIND Challenge incubator program, coordinated by PCSS, has successfully been concluded. During the ceremonial Demo Day held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, participants presented innovative prototype solutions developed by interdisciplinary teams using the living lab methodology.

10th Biogas Congress coming soon. PCSS expert among speakers

This year’s edition of the event organised by the publishers of “Magazyn Biomasa” will once again attract numerous representatives of the agricultural, technology and energy sectors, who, in close cooperation with investors and public administration bodies, are shaping the future of Polish agriculture. The event will take place on 16–17 December at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre in Warsaw and will naturally feature representatives of PCSS.
