“Wielkopolska Center of Telemedicine: improving the availability of specialized medical services and quality of treatment in the Wielkopolska” project entered into the phase of pilot testing of medical teleconsultation platform. On 11th August 2011, PSNC in Poznań held a meeting, attended by representatives of eight hospitals selected for the pilot tests in Wielkopolska.

Winners of the Poznan Hack4Europe edition and winners of the European Commission Hack4Europe in the category “project with the highest business value”, met in Warsaw with the Minister of Economy – Waldemar Pawlak.

26th edition of the International Supercomputing Conference (19-23.06.2011) started in Hamburg. It is Europe’s largest meeting of supercomputing engineering environment which is known for its world-class discussions between specialists from various fields of science and industry leaders. Polish IT scientists are represented by Consortium PIONIER (Polish Optical Internet) and PSNC.

Logical online game was chosen the best application in two different categories! The authors of the game are from Poznań, and one of them is a representative of PSNC.

Live broadcast on the Internet from this year’s National Youth Meeting in the fields of Lednica was organized by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

Watch developers during the first day of the Polish edition of Hack4Europe! in Poznań, which is co-organized by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and the Kórnik Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The workshop is organized by the Europeana Foundation, and outside the capital of Wielkopolska, it is held simultaneously in London, Barcelona and Stockholm.

Genetics is the subject of the next lecture of the “Meetings with science” series, which is organized by the Poznań agency of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The entire meeting will be recorded by the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center and will be available online after the meeting.

On 20th may 2011 Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center started cooperation with ITTI Ltd. from Poznan in the field of IT security. The consortium has been created as a result of collaboration between entities from the commercial market, providing complex consulting services within the scope of IT security.

For four days (16-19.05.2011) Budapest became the European capital of Future Internet. And it is all because of the largest meeting of experts in this field – Future Internet Week conference. The event was also attended by representatives of PSNC, co-organizers of the next edition of FIW.

PSNC and Microsoft Poland invite to the fifth anniversary conference of Microsoft Innovation Center in Poznan, organized on 16th June 2011. Admission is free of charge and the registration can be done from now on.
