PCSS at EDIH Network Regional Conference

On 5 i 6 June 2025, the EDIH Network Regional Conference – one of the flagship events of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council – took place in Rzeszów. This regional meeting, organized within the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), aimed to strengthen cooperation among EDIH network members from across Europe through knowledge exchange, sharing best practices, and joint actions. PCSS was represented at the conference by Michał Błaszczak, Head of the Internet of Things Technology Department.

Q-Chronos Kick-off Meeting

The initial meeting of the Q-Chronos project took place at the PCSS headquarters on 5 June 5 2025. In practice this project is a system of mobile quantum sensors with optical clocks integrated into telecommunication networks. All project consortium members participated in the event. Apart from the PCSS specialists, there were representatives from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN), Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.

Quantum Technology in Theory and in Practice: PCSS at the Women In Tech Summit 2025

Another edition of the Women In Tech Summit took place in Warsaw. The three days (3-5 June 2025) of this technological conference were a great opportunity to share experiences with representatives of many scientific institutions. They also confirmed an enormous interest in quantum technologies, reflected, among others, in the creation of a separate quantum path within this summit, consisting of over a dozen events entirely devoted exclusively to quantum topics.

EmpowerHer Project Meeting at PCSS

On 5 and 6 June 2025, PCSS headquarters (CBPIO) was the heart of the EmpowerHer project created for women who have survived breast cancer and are currently returning to normal life. The first day was divided into a hybrid meeting of experts (Expert Team EmpowerHer) and discussions among partners of this very special undertaking, which continued on day two.

The first edition of the European Science Fair (June 3-6, 2025) has commenced in Poznań. This event is an integral part of ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE – the largest trade fair event in Central and Eastern Europe, where companies from around the world showcase solutions aligned with the Industry 4.0 concept. The combination of science and industry is what we do at PCSS, so our Center had to be present at the Poznań International Fair grounds, where it all takes place.

The 5th 5G-TACTIC General Assembly Meeting at PCSS

On 2 June 2025, the fifth general meeting of the European 5G-TACTIC project took place at PCSS’ headquarters. Discussions during the event concerned organizational matters and the key assumptions of the project. The 5G-TACTIC project is implemented by 15 institutions, which together form the project’s consortium.

30 Years of Digitalization at the Jagiellonian Library

The Jagiellonian Library in Kraków is one of the biggest and oldest libraries in Poland. For the last three decades the institution has been digitalizing its assets to make them available for online users, among others. To celebrate 30 years of this journey into the digital realm, a conference titled “Digitalization of the Library Resources: The Current State and Perspectives” will be held on 5 and 6 June 2025. The event is going to feature public appearances of two PCSS representatives – Tomasz Parkoła and dr Marcin Dąbrowski.

PSNC was an Honorary Patron of the “AI Technologies in the Transport Market” Seminar

The main goal of the seminar “AI Technologies in the Transport Market” was to present industry-dedicated solutions in research and development utilizing AI technologies. The seminar was organized by the Association of Polish Communication Engineers and Technicians in Kraków, with the participation of the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center, Cracow University of Technology, and the Małopolska Regional Chamber of Civil Engineers in Kraków.
