Traditionally, as every year, we invite you to a series of open summer lectures organised by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Poznan Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The meetings will be held in July and August every Thursday at 19:00 in the House of Creative Work of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Jurata. On 15 August the lecture will be given by the Director of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center – Dr Eng. Cezary Mazurek.

The 6th Forum Networking of Polish Innovation Network Partners took place on 25-26 June in Wroclaw. The event was organised to discuss current information from the field of activity of the Network for Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas – SIR. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, which supports the agri-food sector with ICT technologies, took part in the event.

A meeting of the AI-ENTR4YOUTH consortium was held at the headquarters of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center on 28 June to discuss the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI (Artificial Intelligence) in education. The meeting also discussed the future scaling up of the programme to reach 7,000 students in a number of European countries, including Albania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Romania and Ukraine.

The DIAG – Digital Imaging Accuracy Guidelines project team organised a meeting with its partners at the National Digital Archive in Warsaw. The meeting was attended by project partners, including representatives of libraries, archives, museums and galleries from all over Poland, including Gdansk, Kraków, Torun, Warsaw and Poznan.

On Friday 28 June 2024, we invite you to the PSNC Future Labs to meet the creators of the Echtzeitkunstwelt project, who will present and introduce the public to the secrets of working on telematic performances. The project has created remote-controlled virtual musical instruments that produce sounds using three-dimensional objects to create choreography.

On 22 June, Piknik na Fest was held in the Citadel Park under the auspices of Marshal Marek Woźniak. The theme of the event was the 20th anniversary of Poland’s and Wielkopolska’s presence in the European Union. During the picnic, the activities of the voivodeship government and municipal institutions, which improve the quality of life of the region’s inhabitants, were presented. Among the attractions were those prepared by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

The Wielkopolska Agricultural Fair is one of the most important events in the calendar, bringing together the agricultural community. During this year’s thirtieth anniversary edition (8-9 June 2024), representatives of the Internet of Things Department of the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center presented projects that technologically support agricultural and food processing activities.

10,000 participants, 5,000 presentations on 5 stages – these are just some of the impressive figures for this year’s sixth edition of the Perspectives: Women in Tech Summit conference, which will take place on 12-13 June 2024 in Warsaw. As was the case last year, PSNC will present its ongoing projects and initiatives in the exhibition space accompanying the conference, and experts from the PSNC will take part in a panel discussion. The event is organised by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.

This year’s edition of the TNC conference, the largest event dedicated to scientific and academic networks in Europe, will take place in Rennes, France, from 10 to 14 June 2024. It will be hosted by RENATER. In the exhibition area accompanying the conference, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and the PIONIER Consortium will present ongoing projects and initiatives. PSNC will also once again be the event’s technology partner.

For three days, from 4 to 6 June 2024, Poznań hosted the 5th meeting of the AgriFoodTEF project, led by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań University of Technology, and partnered by the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre together with the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.

This Saturday, 8 June, we would like to invite you to the 4th edition of Neighbourhood Inspirations – a unique event that has become a fixture in Poznań’s calendar of events. On Saturday, 1 June 2024, the Kąkolewo Airport will host a Children’s Day organised by the Wanda Modlibowska Aeroclub of Poznań and the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center. There will be field games with prizes, a drone exhibition, inflatable playgrounds for every child and numerous stands.
