The AgriDataSpace project will coordinate the preparatory activities to pave the way for a European agricultural data space. The project aims to facilitate the exchange, processing and analysis of data in a secure, trustworthy, transparent and accountable way to create new opportunities for monitoring and optimizing the use of natural resources, supporting data-driven innovation.
To increase the competitiveness of all Data Space stakeholders, AgriDataSpace will work to provide: 1) a framework for effective and efficient data exchange, supporting the separation of data producers and data consumers; 3) reference conceptual architecture and technological canvas ensuring compatibility and interoperability; 4) a governance framework for defining and enforcing data usage agreements (including potential monetization of both data provision and use); 5) facilitated access to the digital single market supported by appropriate regulatory conditions; 6) a credibility structure where consumers and data providers can share their business interests based on shared ethical values; and 7) business models which may include data as a service, insight as a service and analytics-enables as a service.
