Generative AI Buzz-Free Programming with LLMs workshops took place in the PSNC headquarters on 20-22 May 2025. The event’s main purpose was to show its participants a pragmatic approach to working with Large Language Models, focusing on effective techniques and programming rules.

On 14 and 15 May 2025 PSNC headquarters hosted the first meeting of the KMD4EOSC project, which translates as “universal infrastructure for data storage and sharing and efficient processing of large volumes of data in HPC, BigData and artificial intelligence models”.

On 21 and 22 May 2025 the Director of PSNC Robert Pękal is going to take part in the fifth edition of the Carpathian Startup Fest. The event is focused on entrepreneurship and technology combined and it is going to feature participants representing startups, corporations, media, as well as company owners and investors.

On 14 May 2025 PSNC headquarters hosted a kick-off meeting of the ŚWIATOWID project – a national research infrastructure for the development of GNSS/ADS-B systems with particular emphasis on automatic threat detection. The project is financed under Measure 2.4 in the European Funds for a Modern Economy program.

The Polish Minister of Finances Andrzej Domański paid a visit to the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center’s headquarters. His meeting with the PSNC management focused on scientific research activities of the Poznań Center, which are related to the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.

Poznań Business Club, Franklin Templeton, Wielkopolska ICT Cluster and PSNC are organizing an IT event for business leaders from Poznań. This year’s edition of the “Technology Changes Business in Poznań” conference is going to take place on 23 May and its main focus will be on artificial intelligence.

On 9 May 2025 the European Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration – Piotr Serafin and Polish Minister for European Union Affairs – Adam Szłapka were PSNC’s guests at the Centre’s headquarters near the picturesque Malta lake in Poznań. The visit was concerning the creation of the PIAST-AI factory in the Capital of Wielkopolska.

On 7 May 2025 Lower Saxony’s Prime Minister, Stephan Weil paid a visit to PSNC’s headquarters during his short stay in Poznań. His arrival to the Capital of Wielkopolska was connected with the cooperation between this region and Lower Saxony.

The Blue Economy Baltic Forum (28 and 29 April 2025) organized in a popular Polish seaside resort called Sopot features a presentation of four projects coordinated or led by PSNC / IBCH PAS, namely WEDROWNIQ, ŚWIATOWID, Q-CHRONOS i PLAI4SCIENCE. The projects are introduced by dr inż. Cezary Mazurek during workshops concerning security and resilience of maritime infrastructure, which are a part of Mission Arena 4.

The European Economic Congress is considered to be one of the most important business events in Central Europe. This year’s edition takes place in Katowice (Upper Silesia in the southern part of Poland) from 23 to 25 April 2025. “Poland in the Digital Transformation” panel is going to feature Robert Pękal – the Director of our Center.

On 10 April 2025 over 50 high school students from the southern part of Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) took part in the 17th edition of the Regional IT Competition. PSNC was there in the city of Jarocin where it all took place, to offer its partnership and support.

On 9 and 10 April 2025 PSNC was hosting the spring edition of Europeana Aggregators’ Forum – an event that brings together representatives of institutions which aggregate and share cultural heritage data through cooperation with Europeana. The meeting created a platform for sharing experience, recent achievements, and discussing future challenges.
