“Simple language in public institutions” is a new course in the offer of postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. It was created for people working in the field of public communication, participating as senders or receivers in the circulation of official messages. The partners of the project are the City of Poznan and PSNC.

Digital Energy of the Future – PSNC Enters into Collaboration with the ENEA Group

Collaboration between Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center and the ENEA Group will focus on using innovative digital technologies in the electric power industry. The R&D center and the power industry company have signed a letter of intent to define the nature and direction of activities related to using digital technologies in the electric power industry. Joint projects of ENEA and PSNC will mainly concern research and development works as well as innovative products and services to be offered to ENEA’s customers.

illuMINEation project: ambitious EC funded research project improves health, safety and environmental performance in the mining sector

The European mining industry is increasingly seeking solutions to redesign traditional mining processes through the adoption of innovations accompanied by the extensive use of data analytics and new uses of technology, in particular the industrial internet of things. The EU-funded illuMINEation project is building a multi-level, distributed IIoT platform developed by a consortium that includes PSNC.

Results of the evaluation of research institutions for 2017-2021

The Minister of Education and Science has decided on the categorization of national scientific entities. In accordance with the current rules, scientific categories (A+, A, B+, B or C) were granted separately for each discipline concerning the evaluated units. The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS has been categorized in three disciplines; in the biological sciences, the Institute was awarded the A+ category, while in the chemical sciences and in technical IT and telecommunications, the A category was obtained.

EUhubs4data: completion of AI4SAM experiment supported by PSNC

The experiment AI4SAM – AI for fostering soft and active mobility to accelerate European’s transition to climate neutrality ran by Kentyou in the framework of EUHubs4Data’s first round of experiments focused on the optimisation of the location of soft mobility stations (shared/electric bikes, scooters, cars) in different cities (urban, rural, industrial) to reduce CO2 emissions caused by mobility.

Agreement on the Polish Network of Autonomous Technology Poligons

The main objectives of the agreement for the construction and development of the Autonomous Technology Poligons is to support the development of unmanned systems technology in Poland and to stimulate scientific and research cooperation, as well as business collaboration, by providing specialized, previously unavailable test infrastructure.
