AI made in Poland at the Carpathian Startup Fest

During the Carpathian Startup Fest in Reszów (21-22 May 2025) investors, businessmen, managers, and startup enthusiasts talked about the Polish industrial market, opportunities for obtaining investment capital, and the development prospects of innovative enterprises. Robert Pękal, the Director of PSNC, participated in the discussion panel on Artificial Intelligence.

The Carpathian Startup Fest is the biggest event dedicated to startups in Poland. The 5th edition featured lectures and discussions on topics related to business, the market, marketing, consumer expectations, opportunities to raise investment capital, and the development prospects of startups. There was also some focus on culture and art, education, work psychology, as well as the role of public speakers in business.

One of the discussion panels was dedicated to the growing role of AI in shaping the world’s economic future and its impact on reshaping the labor market. The Director of PSNC Robert Pękal participated in the discussion, familiarizing the meeting participants with the scope of research activities of the Poznań Center concerning both artificial intelligence and quantum technologies.
