E-RIHS Becomes ERIC

E-RIHS Becomes ERIC

The European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS) was transformed into the European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC). This new status strengthens the institution’s position as one of the world’s key players in the field of heritage science.

E-RIHS ERIC features national nods from: Cyprus, France, Hungary, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain and Great Britain.  Additionally ICCROM assumed the role of a permanent monitoring body. PSNC joined the Polish Consortium for Cultural Heritage Research ERIS PL in 2024.

Thanks to the Internet Catalogue of Services, E-RIHS ERIC will offer a free of charge access to the research infrastructure, data and archives of partners available on four platforms:

  • ARCHLAB
  • FIXLAB
  • MOLAB
  • DIGILAB.

PSNC’s joining the E-RIHS PL consortium is another step in realizing the vision of combining science, cultural heritage and technology.
