“Digital National Museum in Warsaw” had its premiere on May 12th in Warsaw’s National Museum. This digital museum is available at http://cyfrowe.mnw.art.pl/ and is based on the dMuseion software developed by PSNC.

This year’s edition of the international TERENA conference will take place in Prague (16-19.05.2011). During a four-day event, participants will present their latest research projects. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and PIONIER Consortium will also present their achievements.

In the National Museum in Warsaw works, carried out under the program “Digital Resources. Priority 2: Digitization of monuments and museum exhibits”, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, have been completed. During the gala premiere – on 12th may 2011 – the portal of the Digital National Museum in Warsaw, which uses the dMuseion platform, was launched. This program has been created by Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center in collaboration with the National Museum in Warsaw.

The long-awaited spring has come! Its start has been announced by the arrival of storks to Chyby (near Poznań). The nest with red-legged newcomers can be observed by the means of PSNCs web transmission.

In September 2011, representatives of PSNC Digital Libraries Team will participate in the prestigious Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries conference. They will also conduct a training course.

The ongoing two-year Access IT project came to an end. His solemn summary took place on 21st March at a special conference in Istanbul. The event was attended by representatives PSNC Digital Libraries Team.

During the exhibition of Celtic-Plus initiative in Heidelberg, representatives of PSNC are presenting a prototype of a telemedicine platform developed in HIPERMED project.

QualiPSo project came to an end. In Brussels took place on the final design review project. Formally, the completion of QualiPSo took place in January this year.
