The 4K Initiative was presented during the ‘Researcher’s Night’ event on September 25th 2009.

The International Supercomputing Conference also known as ISC for the first time gathers the environment of manufacturers, software and system developers and high performance computer users. It is the largest European HPC event, taking place from 23 to 26 of June 2009 in Hamburg. It is already the third time that the PIONIER Consortium represents the Polish science at the accompanying exhibition among 120 other exhibitors from 45 countries.

The Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center participated in the 4th International Film Festival Cinemagic.pl that took place in Płock, 19-21 June 2009. The PSNC was an official partner of the festival, enabling the presentation of the 4K Technology by Ted Schilowitz of the RED Digital Camera.
