PSNC at the INSECON Congress

The INSECON Congress (15-16 April 2024) is a platform for gaining knowledge, establishing business relationships and exchanging experiences with cyber security professionals. The event, organised by the Poznań International Fair and the Ministry of National Defence, was attended by representatives of the ICT Security Department of the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.

Cybersecurity is crucial for many different companies and industries, especially in the digital age where organisations store and process significant amounts of data online. The state of cybersecurity in Poland is a dynamic issue, accompanied by both the development of defence activities and new challenges related to cybercrime.

During the two-day event, the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) CyberSec, led by PSNC, was presented in the exhibition part of the congress. Representatives of the four consortium partners (PSNC, ICSec, ITTI, TRIN.pl) presented the free cybersecurity services offered by the project to small and medium-sized enterprises.

On the second day of the event, Dr Norbert Meyer, project manager of the CyberSec EDIH project, spoke on the Local Government Business Stage, presenting the idea of Digital Innovation Centres, as well as the project itself and its service portfolio.

Specialists from the PSNC ICT Security Department provided ICT security for the event, adding to the list of events already protected, including the UNFCCC COP, the World Urban Forum and the 1050th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland.
