Conference4me at ICT Proposers' Day 2014
ICT Proposers’ Day 2014 will be held on 9-10 October 2014 in Florence, Italy. The event will focus on networking for ICT Work Programme 2015. All ICT components in the three pillars of H2020 will be addressed.

ICT Proposers’ Day 2014, organized by the European Commission, is specifically dedicated to networking and promoting research and innovation in the field of Information and Communication Technologies with a focus on Horizon 2020 ICT Work Programme 2015 and all ICT Calls across Horizon 2020.

The event will offer an exceptional occasion to build quality partnerships as it will connect academia, research institutes, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe. The event is free of charge but registration is required.

A networking event to promote European ICT Research & Innovation, focusing on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme for 2015It focuses on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2015 in the field of Information & Communication Technologies.

In total, more than 3,000 researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, young people and policy makers are expected to attend.

    The Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS) and Wielkopolska Agency for Enterprise Development (WARP) signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the area of cybersecurity. In its initial phase, the cooperation will feature the dissemination and promotion of information about cybersecurity and the security of ICT systems among entrepreneurs in Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) Voivodeship.

    On 9 May 2025 the European Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration – Piotr Serafin and Polish Minister for European Union Affairs – Adam Szłapka were PSNC’s guests at the Centre’s headquarters near the picturesque Malta lake in Poznań. The visit was concerning the creation of the PIAST-AI factory in the Capital of Wielkopolska.

    Thanks to the Dariah.lab infrastructure, the first pilot projects for the preservation and dissemination of cultural heritage resources have been implemented in 2023. Dariah.lab is a research infrastructure for the humanities and arts, built as part of the DARIAH-PL project. It serves to acquire, store and integrate cultural data from the humanities and social sciences, and to process, visualise and share digital resources.

    Would you like to experience quantum technologies? Just join our adventure and you will! PSNC specialists who participate in the Superheroes 4 Science project created a very special game which combines science and fun! The game is called “Parallel Quest” and it guides its players through the mysteries of supercomputers and parallel programming. Surprisingly enough, that quest is available both as a traditional board game and an online entity which pops up in your regular browser.

    On 7 May 2025 Lower Saxony's Prime Minister, Stephan Weil paid a visit to PSNC’s headquarters during his short stay in Poznań. His arrival to the Capital of Wielkopolska was connected with the cooperation between this region and Lower Saxony.

    The Blue Economy Baltic Forum (28 and 29 April 2025) organized in a popular Polish seaside resort called Sopot features a presentation of four projects coordinated or led by PSNC / IBCH PAS, namely WEDROWNIQ, ŚWIATOWID, Q-CHRONOS i PLAI4SCIENCE. The projects are introduced by dr inż. Cezary Mazurek during workshops concerning security and resilience of maritime infrastructure, which are a part of Mission Arena 4.
