Cinegrid 2009 (4th Annual Workshop)
The capabilities of the 4K node in Poznań, together with the process of its creation, were presented during the meeting of the CineGrid organization, whose members include the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.
Its architecture was introduced in detail and demonstrations were carried out.
Not only did the participation in the CineGrid meeting result in new experiences and contacts, but it also turned out to be a perfect opportunity to gain new knowledge that will certainly be of great value during the expansion of the 4K node.

    3D-4CH is a European project the goal of which is to revolutionize the way cultural heritage is protected, digitized, and made accessible through the use of advanced 3D technologies, artificial intelligence, and extended reality. Just take a short survey aimed at individuals, companies, and institutions that conduct courses or workshops related to the digitization of cultural heritage.     The Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS) and Wielkopolska Agency for Enterprise Development (WARP) signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in the area of cybersecurity. In its initial phase, the cooperation will feature the dissemination and promotion of information about cybersecurity and the security of ICT systems among entrepreneurs in Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) Voivodeship.

PSNC specialists who participate in the Superheroes 4 Science project created a very special game which combines science and fun! The game is called “Parallel Quest” and it guides its players through the mysteries of supercomputers and parallel programming. Surprisingly enough, that quest is available both as a traditional board game and an online entity which pops up in your regular browser.

    Q-ChronoS: A Mobile Quantum Sensors System in Telecommunication Networks

    “The system of mobile quantum sensors with optical clocks integrated into telecommunication networks (Q-ChronoS)” is a project related to the development of systems of two mobile quantum sensors based on optical atomic clocks and an infrastructure for optical frequency transfer, which will enable their use in various locations in Poland. The project is aimed at a wide range of recipients focused around quantum technologies, geodetics, metrology, physics, radiostrontium and communication.

    The Blue Economy Baltic Forum (28 and 29 April 2025) organized in a popular Polish seaside resort called Sopot features a presentation of four projects coordinated or led by PSNC / IBCH PAS, namely WEDROWNIQ, ŚWIATOWID, Q-CHRONOS i PLAI4SCIENCE. The projects are introduced by dr inż. Cezary Mazurek during workshops concerning security and resilience of maritime infrastructure, which are a part of Mission Arena 4.
