The game is called “Parallel Quest” and it guides its players through the mysteries of supercomputers and parallel programming. Surprisingly enough, that quest is available both as a traditional board game and an online entity which pops up in your regular browser.
The Superheroes 4 Science project is supported by the governments of Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia as a part of the International Visegrad Fund, which promotes the idea of a sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe. Superheroes4Science aims to introduce young people to high-performance computing – an important field of technology that utilizes supercomputers to solve complex problems and perform computationally intensive tasks.
Activities within the S4S program involve the creation of various interactive educational materials on HPC and two other related fields: artificial intelligence and quantum computing. To meet this objective, experts from PSNC created the “Parallel Quest” board / online game, and now even the youngest players can immerse themselves in a world of logical challenges, strategy, and teamwork.

The aim of the ECHOES project is to create the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) – a shared platform designed to facilitate collaboration among heritage professionals and researchers, enabling them to modernise their workflows and processes. "Development of an Innovative Tool to Support Diagnostics and Automatic Description of Radiological Images Using Artificial Intelligence Tools" is the full name of the project known simply as “Next Data AI”. The project is carried out by PSNC in cooperation with Centrum Zdrowia La Vie (La Vie Health Center) and its main goal is to conduct research and development work necessary to develop a tool that will support radiological diagnostics and automate the description of radiological examinations based on artificial intelligence mechanisms.
