CLAW Meeting: welcome back to Poznan

After two years, the Crisis Management Workshop (CLAW) – crisis management event for the GÉANT community – returned to the stationary form at the headquaters of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center. For two days (November 29-30), participants of the meeting discussed, but also took part in practical activities to jointly solve a crisis in the fictional academic network GuilREN.

There was a hacker attack, a leakage of sensitive data and arrests – all so that representatives of the various European NRENs could practice solving potential threats. PSNC team was responsible for ty e preparation of: the scenario and implementation of the workshop using multimedia materials, a multi-screen studio and simultaneous live video from several rooms, as well as a real press conference with the participation of secret services,

The event was attended by nearly 60 people associated with the GÉANT community carrying out tasks in the field of contact with the media, marketing and Public Relations in their home institutions.
