Auditory Festival at PSNC Future Labs

Auditory Festival at PSNC Future Labs

As in the previous year, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and PSNC Future Labs actively participated in the organization of the Poznan Auditory Festival. One of the events will take place on Friday, October 22 in a historic tenement house at Zwierzyniecka 20 in Poznan, Poland.

As the originators of the festival argue, it was created in order to to present a new, original approach to the radio play form. The productions, which are to a large extent premieres, are enriched with elements of stage design, they are also conceived in such a way that a sound work can function independently. Another novelty is the fact of “going out” with radio plays to spaces not related to culture and art, such as the former Main Railway Station, J. Strusia Hospital in Szkolna Street, a deserted go-go club in Gwarna Street or the former Raczynski Library building in Saint Martin Street.

PSNC and PSNC Future Labs are Partners of this year’s edition; Jan Skorupa (New Media Department) prepared music for the final radio play entitled “Stickiness” (Polish title:”Kleistość”), and Paweł Sołoducha (PSNC Future Labs) – prepared video animation.

The presentation of the radio play directed by Anna Szamotula will take place on October 22, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., in the art & science space of PSNC Future Labs, 20 Zwierzyniecka Street in Poznan.
