Future Labs Forum: Health

On April 13, 2023, the Future Labs Forum networking meeting was held at the PSNC Future Labs (20 Zwierzyniecka St. in Poznań). The main goal of the meetings, which are organized periodically, is to create an interdisciplinary community working at the intersection of science, technology and social needs. The April event was dedicated to innovations in the field of oncology.

The meeting began with presentations. A radiologist Pawel Borucki, PhD talked about the challenges faced by modern radiology and how artificial intelligence can help to solve them. Dominika Kozlowska-Wojnar, a speech therapy specialist and author of social innovations that fill gaps in the current support system, presented activities for people after head and neck cancer treatment and their families.

After the presentations, there was an opportunity to talk, make contacts and exchange experiences. The meeting was attended by Krzysztof Kurowski, PhD and Cezary Mazurek, PhD, as well as physicians and others who are socially or professionally involved with oncology patients: technology project developers, programmers, managers, and those interested in supporting the patient and physician community with their ideas and work.
