PSNC as a partner of Droniada 2020

Droniada is a cyclical event organized since 2014, allowing to show competence in the field of industry 4.0 technology, with particular emphasis on drones, ICT and systems for information analysis. This year’s edition (July 1-4, 2020) is accompanied by a hackaton and online workshops in which representatives of PSNC take part as speakers.

The 7th edition of Droniada GZM is organized by the “Instytut Mikromakro” Foundation at the Katowice-Muchowiec airport. The main event is a technology competition in which academic teams develop innovative solutions using unmanned aerial vehicle technology. This year, there are two competitions entitled: “Life corridor” and “Three colors”.

The competitions are accompanied by remote workshops on the use of drones in local government, industry 4.0 technology in environmental protection, and precision agriculture. On the first day, the presentation “The Kakolewo Project, services for startups and innovators from the industry 4.0, robotics, including drones” was presented by Director of PSNC – dr inż. Cezary Mazurek.

On Friday, July 3 at 14.30 pm, the presentation “Application of drones in intelligent agriculture” will be presented by Marcin Płóciennik – Head of the PSNC Internet of Things Department.
