The Impact Conference is one of the most important economic and business events in Central and Eastern Europe. Organized on May 10 and 11, 2023 in Poznań, the event brought together representatives of business, science, politics and technology. During this year’s edition, representatives of PSNC were also present and numerous guests visited our exhibition booth.
As in previous years, the conference was hosted at the Poznan Congress Center. During the two-day event, nearly 600 speakers appeared on eight stages in 23 thematic areas. Among them, representatives of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center were present. Krzysztof Kurowski, Ph.D. – Deputy Director of PSNC and Piotr Rydlichowski from the Department of Network Infrastructure and Services joined the main stage in a panel dedicated to IBM, during which the topics of quantum computers and artificial intelligence were discussed.
In the exhibitio area, PSNC presented its booth, introducing visitors to the projects from the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructures or the tasks carried out within the Polish node of quantum computing – IBM Quantum Innovation Center.

The aim of the Consortium is to increase knowledge of the properties and methods of conservation of materials that make up historical objects. PSNC joined it by supporting the structures with its knowledge and experience in the field of digitisation and digitisation of collections of culture, art and national heritage.

Announcement of the new map of NATO Defence Innovation Accelerators under the DIANA programme

On 14 March 2024, a new map of test and accelerator areas under the NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) programme was announced. The PSNC AerospaceLab in Kąkolewo is one of dozens of locations already selected in the North Atlantic Alliance for test centres (DIANA Test Centres). A new Polish contribution to the programme is the AGH University of Krakow, which together with the Krakow Technology Park will jointly run a branch of the NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator (Krakow DIANA Accelerator).
