Stop Corona – free video-rooms for hospitals

One of the dangers brought by the coronavirus (SARS- Cov-2) is the potential overload of our healthcare system. To help avoid that, medVC.eu offers the video-room service for all hospitals. PSNC and the Polish Federation of Hospitals are partners of the project.

The service is designed to help hospitals unblock their telephone lines and prevent patients from gathering in emergency rooms. Any hospital that signs up for this service may offer medical visits to patients via videoconferencing.

Advantages of using the service:

  • audio-video connection between the patient at home and the doctor at the hospital,
  • the doctor can remotely assess the patient’s health status,
  • patients stay at home, not spreading the virus, using audio and video
  • the service includes the function of a virtual waiting room for patients,
  • very easy to use
  • secure and encrypted,
  • no data is being recorded,
  • no fees,
  • offloading the telephone lines,
  • no crowds in emergency rooms.

HOSPITALS

If you would like to use the service, please send a message from the official email address of your hospital to: stop-korona@medvc.eu, with the following information:

Name of your hospital
Address
Contact email address

After receiving this message, the service will be activated for your hospital and you will receive 2 links:

  • an access link for your patients, which you can publish on the hospital’s website,
  • an access link for your doctors

That’s all you will need to use the service.

PATIENTS

Go to the website of the hospital and find the link to the medVC service there.
Soon, we will also make available a global hospital search page, where you can find the
hospitals in your area that use the service.
