The third edition of the EOSC National Tripartite Event Poland (or simply NTE Poland 2025) takes place at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków on 25 March. The event is organized by the National Science Centre and among guests there will be representatives of the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.
NTE Poland 2025 will be an opportunity to examine Poland’s role in shaping the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), exchange best practices in research data management, and discuss the challenges that national and European research infrastructures face on the path to an effective collaboration within EOSC.
The event will be preceded by the EOSC Steering Board meeting and the EOSC European Tripartite Event, organized within the framework of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. These events will be attended by experts from the EOSC Partnership representing 42 EU member states and associated countries, who will develop strategic directions for further development, taking into account long-term perspectives beyond 2027.
PSNC will be represented by Tomasz Parkoła, Head of the Network Services Division, who will participate in a panel discussion on domain-specific research infrastructures and their role in EOSC. He will present the achievements and capabilities of PSNC in the humanities and social sciences using the examples of Dariah.lab, E-rihs.eu and OPERAS projects.
The second representative of PSNC will be dr inż. Norbert Meyer, Head of the Data Processing Technologies Division, who will present the National Data Repository (KMD) – a modern infrastructure dedicated to the storage, sharing, and efficient processing of large data volumes.
