Aerospace Lab presentation at Smart City Wielkopolska & Guests 2022 Conference

The conference will be held on May 25, 2022 at the Poznan International Fair. This is the third edition of Smart City Wielkopolska – a platform for the exchange of experiences, good practices and innovative solutions for cities. The event will be accompanied by Smart Space – a place for exhibitors, where projects implemented within the AeroSpace Lab will be presented.

The theme of this year’s stationary conference will be resilient cities, i.e. cities able to react and adapt to the changes taking place around them. In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the topics are particularly important for both city managers and residents.

A new feature of the event is a friendly exhibition area -Smart Space, where exhibitors will present cutting-edge technologies, products and services for creating a better managed, greener and more friendly city. It will be a place where the guests will have an oppotunity talk about specific solutions, projects and tools for innovative cities.

The Smart Space will present projects implemented within the Aerospace Lab: including GOF 2.0 Integrated Urban Airspace VLD project, dedicated to urban mobility issues. The scenarios of unmanned missions tested in the project will also be presented. This area of interest will soon become an everyday reality in cities. The project cases focus mainly on: transport of people, transport of goods, mapping the area, mapping the building, observation by municipal services. Smart Space visitors will also be able to learn more about drones as tools for urban inventory. Moreover, city monitoring using a network of autonomous drones will be presented, in the context of the resilient city.
