DARIAH.LAB: inauguration of laboratories

On February 19, 2021, a meeting of the DARIAH-PL project took place, initiating activities of individual laboratories. The substantive assumptions for the planned software were presented, and the links between individual activities within the laboratories as well as the formats of collaboration between them were also discussed.

The main objective of the on-line meeting was to identify a range of works that could be carried out jointly by many partners, and to define the tools necessary for the implementation. This was the first such project meeting; further actions will be continued within each of the laboratories:

  • Laboratory fo Sources,
  • Automated Enrichment Laboratory,
  • Supervised Semantic Discovery Laboratory,
  • Laboratory of Intelligent Analysis and Interpretation,
  • Advanced Visualization Laboratory.

Recall that the main goal of the DARIAH.LAB project is to create a national intelligent digital research infrastructure for the humanities and arts. These resources are intended to serve not only the acquisition, storage and integration of different categories and different quality of data, but also they are created for the purpose of processing and sharing 2D and 3D digital resources: multicontextual visualization of results, analysis and interpretation of multiple categories of data.
