The eighth edition of the event was originally intended to take place in the Będlewo Conference Center. The organizers, due to the prevailing coronavirus epidemic, decided to move the conference to the network. The 8th Polish Combinatorial Conference takes place on the ClickMeeting platform with technical support offered by PSNC.

This year’s sixth edition of the ERC Space and Robotics Event, which will take place on September 11-13 in Kielce, will be unique in many respects. The event, due to the restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic, will be held in the hybrid formula, and the live TV broadcast will be carried out by PSNC – the honorary patron.

The Ars Electronica 2020 festival will take place on September 9-13, 2020. PSNC will present the show “The Meeting Point” as part of the Immersify project, which will be broadcast live from Poznan on Thursday, September 9 at. 10:00.

On September 8th, at 11 a.m., a discussion panel ITM_talks – Virtually about the industry of the digital era will be held. The event is entitled “Autonomy of robots and digital transformation of industry”. One of the speakers will be Dr Krzysztof Kurowski, PSNC. We invite you to participate remotely in this event.

On August 25th at 11:00 a.m., another meeting of the Board of Education in Poznan took place, which constituted a meeting inaugurating the new school year 2020/2021 with the principals of public and non-public schools and institutions of the Wielkopolska Region. The meeting in the form of a webinar was co-organized by PSNC as part of the activities of the Wielkopolska Team for the Safety of Children and Youth.

The ERC Space and Robotics Event is a prestigious robotics and space event that combines the international mobile robot competition with scientific and technological demonstrations. This year’s edition, scheduled for 11-13 September, will be the first one organized in a hybrid formula. Honorary patronage over the event was taken by the European Space Agency, the Ministry of Development, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and the national science and research network PIONIER.

On July 29, PSNC was visited by Deputy Prime Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Development. During the visit, the current and planned activities of the Poznan Centre in the field of support for the digital economy and digital society were discussed, as well as tasks carried out within the framework of PSNC Digital Innovation Hub – HPC4Poland.

Droniada is a cyclical event organized since 2014, allowing to show competence in the field of industry 4.0 technology, with particular emphasis on drones, ICT and systems for information analysis. This year’s edition (July 1-4, 2020) is accompanied by a hackaton and online workshops in which representatives of PSNC take part as speakers.

The Immersify project will be presented during NEM Summit 2020, which is organized online this year. The NEM Summit is an international conference and exhibition, organized since 2008 by the NEM Initiative for all those interested in broad area of Media, Content, and Creativity.

This Thursday, June 25, we invite you to take part in the first edition of the Smart City Wielkopolska conference, which will be held online. PSNC is a Partner of this event, and the main organizer is the Wielkopolska Investment Support Center (WCWI). One of the invited speakers is Cezary Mazurek, Ph.D. (PSNC).

Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center once again took part in organizing the 11th edition of Logistics Gala (18.06.2020), which due to a coronavirus pandemic was held online in the form of a webinar, broadcast from the studio in the CBPIO building.

On June 16, 2020, the official opening of the Air Traffic Control Center in Poznan near the Poznan-Lawica airport took place. The building was visited by, among others: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, CEO of CPK Mikołaj Wild, CEO of PANSA Janusz Janiszewski. The ceremony was also attended by the PSNC management and the rector of the Poznan University of Technology. PSNC had its role in this event, as the building is now connected to the PIONIER network, and the PSNC drone was able to demonstrate live the operation of the electronic flight control system for PANSA UTM drones.
